The annual Leading Ladies of Real Estate Series features three women at the forefront of the commercial real estate industry in an intimate setting to hear about their paths to top.

Joanne M. Minieri, Chief Operating Officer, RXR Realty

Joanne Minieri is the Chief Operating Officer of RXR Development Services and RXR Construction Services and a Sr. Executive Vice President of RXR Realty ("RXR") overseeing an over $6.0 billion development pipeline of 6,100 multi-family and condominium units along with over 2.0 million s.f. of commercial space. RXR is a vertically integrated private real estate company with expertise in investment management, development, design, construction, leasing, financing and management. RXR is focused on New York City and the surrounding metropolitan area markets. Its portfolio comprises approximately 25 million s.f. of commercial properties and projects under active development.

Ms. Minieri served as the Deputy County Executive and Commissioner for Suffolk County Economic Development and Planning and was the Chairperson of the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency Board and the Suffolk County Economic Development Corporation.

Previously, Ms. Minieri served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Forest City Ratner Companies. Under her management, the company diversified its portfolio with the development and construction of 24 retail centers, 10 office buildings, 2 hotels, and 2 residential projects.

Ms. Minieri was involved in the acquisition of the NETS franchise and oversaw the pre­ development of the Atlantic Yards project, an 8-million square-foot mixed-use development which includes the Barclays Center.

Ms. Minieri serves on the Board of Trinity Place Holdings, Inc., Hofstra University, NEW (Non­ Traditional Employment of Women) and NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate and co-chairs its annual National Women in Real Estate Symposium. Ms. Minieri is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has been honored and received several awards for her accomplishments and leadership.
