Sr Business Development Manager
How many years a CREW Member?
I have worked as a professional actor, and I am a SAG-AFTRA member. I am currently president of Pantomonium Productions, Inc. a non-profit theatre company in NYC that donates ticket sales to underserved children and families in the local community.
Describe a key piece of advice you received during your career, and how it impacted you.
“You’re smart and curious, the rest we can teach you.” This advice encouraged me to begin my journey in commercial real estate, which had not been my original field of study. The CRE community, industry relationships, and professional organizations - like CREWNY - have been an incredible support while building my career for over 18 years.
Who had the most influence on you growing up, and why?
My family. I was raised in a home of possibilities. If you want it, you can do it. This message resonated throughout my childhood, resulting in bold career choices and extensive travel.
What are some of the tools in your skill-set which have been critical to you in your career?
Listening is probably my number one tool and I don’t mean listening with just your ears, I mean LISTENING. The kind that requires all your senses and attention. The kind that “hears” past the words being used and brings one closer to the subtext and intention of the person speaking. This tool is constantly in development. It is a practice that I value and strive to achieve. Another would be follow-up. The act of reengaging after the first contact or conversation. Both of these skills have proven critical in my career progression.
