How Many Years a CREWNY Member?
I am learning how to dance the waltz and the tango.
Who or what inspires you? Why?
In term of personal inspiration, I will say my mother. As an immigrant, I remember when we first arrived in this country. My mother was working seven days a week at two jobs. I always remember the lesson she told me as a young girl: “be honest, work hard, you will face many challenges throughout your life, as soon as you don’t give up, you will always accomplish your dream.” I appreciate her for all her hard work, and she inspires me every day. As for the professional inspiration, I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all the gorgeous women at CREW, for building a solid foundation for our generation.
What advice would you give on how to achieve work/life balance?
My advice is to stay focused and plan your time accordingly. At BBG, we started our busy season right after I joined the firm. Recently, I have been getting up very early each day to start working and going out on property inspections later in the day. Every night, I will review what I had done during the day and start organizing myself to start my next day effectively. I love going to my dance class after work, but sometimes I have to put my hobbies aside and help the team meet multiple deadlines. Every day is a work/life balance for me because I enjoy what I am doing and have incorporated it into my daily life.
How do you bring value to your company?
At BBG, we are building a technology-based platform for our real estate services. I am learning many new features every day and I also spend time with my team leaders to create templates for different property classes. We are committed to serving our clients and delivering high quality reports. My value is ensuring that we delivery that promise and meet our clients’ expectations.
